RotaChrom develops and manufactures centrifugal partition chromatography (CPC)
systems engineered for scalable, high-resolution purification across industrial workflows.

Our technology is based on liquid–liquid chromatography (LLC), eliminating the need for silica or other solid stationary phases. This simplifies operations, reduces waste, and improves both cost-efficiency and process control in downstream purification. Our in-house team of chemists, process engineers, and application specialists works closely with partners to optimize each installation. This includes tailored method development, feasibility studies, process simulation, and long-term engineering support to ensure system efficiency and lifecycle performance.

RotaChrom’s CPC technology occupies a distinct position between traditional solid-phase chromatography and basic extraction techniques. While conventional systems may offer high resolution, they often introduce high operating costs, consumables, and limitations due to solid media. On the other end, simple extraction or filtration can lack the selectivity and reproducibility needed for regulated, high-value production.

CPC fills this gap as a liquid–liquid based, silica-free system that provides scalable selectivity without solid stationary phases. It is particularly well-positioned for workflows where high purity is required at medium to high volume (intermediate purification) or when separating compounds with similar structures.
