We are excited to announce that RotaChrom’s team will attend the 33rd International Symposium on Chromatography, also known as ISC. The event is going to take place in Budapest, Hungary from 18-22 September 2022 in the Budapest Congress Centre.

The International Symposium on Chromatography (ISC) is the longest-going series of conferences related to separation sciences. ISC conferences have been organised beginning in 1956 throughout all the even years. ISC is one of the foremost conferences to discuss all the different modes of chromatography and separation science with a wide range covering many different techniques and applications.

Where can I meet the team?

RotaChrom’s Lead Scientific Officer Arpad Konczol, Deputy Lab Manager Dora Rutterschmidt and Research Scientist David Laczko will represent the company at ISC 22. The team will bring 3 different posters about chromatographic and separation research which you can see at the conference. It is also going to be a great chance to talk to the scientists in-person and exchange thoughts about chromatography and related topics. Or just to grab a coffee and explore other ideas in the inspiring atmosphere.

What is the agenda of ISC?

The most important topics of ISC 2022 will relate to the impact of chromatography and separation science. The goal is to discuss how it is possible to meet the requirements of the pharmaceutical, environmental, food and health industry, as well as science and medicine.

An international exhibition and vendor seminars about instrumentation and services related to chromatography, separation science and mass spectrometry will take place as an important part of the scientific programme with lectures and poster sessions. ISC 2022 is going to be a great forum for visitors arriving from the fields of academia, industry and research institutions to take part in scientific exchange and networking.

The conference will cover a range of topics including (but not limited to):

  • New technologies, instrumentations and separation media for GC, HPLC, SFC and electrodriven separations
  • Mass spectrometry hyphenation and applications
  • Pharmaceuticals
  • Biopharmaceutical and biologics
  • Foods, natural products, health, security
  • Chemometrics, quality by design, data processing

And many more. You can find the detailed programme here.

Where does ISC take place?

The 33rd International Symposium on Chromatography will be held in Budapest, Hungary, in the Budapest Congress Centre.

According to the conference’s website, “The Budapest Congress Center is the largest, most modern congress and meeting facility in Hungary with 20 multi-functional rooms, quality catering services, highest level of on-site audio-visual support and a maximum of 4,000 m2 of exhibition space able to welcome up to 2,000 people.”

You can find the Budapest Congress Centre at 1123 Budapest, Jagelló street 1-3.

What will RotaChrom bring to ISC 22?

RotaChrom’s team is going to bring 3 posters to the show and exhibit new findings about chromatographic research. Arpad, Dora and David will be there throughout the conference with their individual posters. Feel free to talk to them and ask any questions related to the posters, chromatography in general, or the RotaChrom team’s current research findings or developmental goals. The team will be more than happy to discuss these questions with you.

See you at ISC 22!
